Kingswood Country is a 1970's sitcom poking fun at the suburbia of the time. The repartee is quite politically incorrect and emphasises the ethnic tensions at the time, but in a jjocular way. It is a snapshot of a time when the Whitlam sacking was recent and the Government was battling the results of the 1975 inflation but there is a heart warming element to the play that displays the basic warmth and empathy of the people of the time. Above all it is very funny, corny maybe , but very funny.
