As Australia ends its production of the Holden car, we bring you this Aussie classic TV sitcom that pays an vague homage to a famous Holden.

Ted Bullpitt: Ted, full name Edward Melba Bullpitt, is the main character. He is intolerant and has a particular hatred (and fear) of Catholics. Ted was part of a kitchen unit captured by the Italians in World War Two. His favourite thing, over his wife and family, is his Holden Kingswood. He also enjoys reading the comic Mandrake, sitting in his chair in front of the television, either while reading the paper or with his tankard of beer as well as tending to his greyhounds (Gay Akubra and Repco Lad). Ted is known as "Big Bum Bullpitt" to the students and Nuns (teachers) at the local Catholic school St Joseph's. He is also afraid of the Nuns, though seems to like Sister Maria as she also likes beer.

Join us as we celebrate securing the rights to the World Premiere of British playwright Phillip Meeks' pantomime "Aladdin". 

Stage Left Theatre's annual dinner show is back and this year it's Drama-Comedy Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe adapted for stage from the movie and book.

Join us for a three course Southern style meal and a show.

Set in 1920's Alabama, Fried Green Tomatoes is a light hearted drama with a dramatic twist. Featuring themes of Forbidden Love, Racism, Domestic Violence and Murder, laced with good old fashioned southern charm and tall tales.

Stage Left are proud to partner with the Goldfields Women's Refuge and the work they do in assisting victims of domestic violence. We will gratefully accept any donations of clothing, bedding, toiletries and non perishable foods.

Doors open 6:00pm. Moonshine (full bar facilities) is available, and you get a meal with the show too.

Tickets are $65, with early bird tickets available until May 12th at $55.
